The Affordable Care Act (ACA) was designed to increase access to quality health care for everyone in the country, especially the Latino community. The first deadline for health insurance under the Affordable Healthcare Act (ACA) starting January 1st is Tuesday, Dec. 15. Under the ACA law, not having health insurance can be costly.
