The recent news articles have discussed various local public health pushes in different states across the nation about towards sugary drink taxes, sugar taxes, and resolutions to the childhood obesity epidemic in America.SaludTues 002:02

Sugary beverage consumption on a daily basis has been proven in research to be linked to higher risks of health related diseases.

Recent studies have shown that Latino kids drink more sugary beverages than their peers, resulting in youth that have higher risks for diabetes, obesity, and heart disease.
