Communicator Awards, presented by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, honor international marketing and communications that “transcends innovation and craft” and made a “lasting impact.”
SaludToday is led by Dr. Amelie G. Ramirez, professor and director of the Institute for Health Promotion Research (IHPR) at UT Health San Antonio.
“We’re excited by the ongoing stamp of approval for our communication work from groups like the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts,” said Dr. Ramirez, who also directs Salud America!, a national network to promote a healthy weight for Latino children, which is funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. “Our team puts great effort into bringing to light issues that affect Latinos across the nation.”
